I have been an Audiologist for over 38 years, spending most of my career servicing Newcastle and specifically with HearingLife Newcastle for almost 5 years. I have a broad experience in Audiology, which includes the area of specialist adult services. Over my years in Audiology I have witnessed many significant changes in audiological practice and technological developments. I now work part-time and enjoy engaging with my clients to see them benefit from the latest exciting developments in our services and technology.

I have been working as a qualified Audiometrist for 18 years and have spent more than 10 of those years working at HearingLife. I had taken an interest in hearing while working in customer service at a hearing clinic, and as my mother had a hearing loss and wore hearing devices, it was a service very close to my heart. Prior to working within the hearing industry I was a secretary for many years and also a qualified Mothercraft nurse working in maternity wards of hospitals and also in childcare centres. I enjoy the satisfaction of seeing my client’s lives change when they are able to communicate freely with their family and friends again. I love working with and meeting new people.

Starting my career in 2003 as a Customer Service Officer, whilst completing my studies, I have been working within the hearing industry for 15 years. I graduated as a qualified Audiometrist in 2008 and have spent the last 8 years working with HearingLife. I took an interest in the hearing industry as hearing has impacted my family greatly over the years and I love to help people. I have completed Certificate IV in Audiometry and a Diploma of Hearing Device Prescription and Evaluation.
