I am a senior Audiologist and have been working in the industry since January 2012 after completing my Master of Clinical Audiology at The University of Western Australia. I have worked in a number of areas of audiology including diagnostic assessment, adult audiological assessment, adult aural rehabilitation, hearing device fitting, paediatric assessment, tinnitus assessment and management. I became interested in audiology after completing a Bachelor of Science at James Cook University. My Majors were in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I have supervised many Master of Audiology students through the years and I find that that the most rewarding thing about being an Audiologist is teaching clients about their hearing and guiding them through the sound discovery process. That moment when you see in their eyes that they are hearing everyday sounds again is priceless and very rewarding. It is life changing for the client and opens up a whole new world.
