I have been with Banora Point clinic, Hearing Life, since November 2015 (with a few months absence whilst acting as BDM for Sonic). I have been working in the industry for eight years. My interest in working with the hearing impaired was sparked whilst working with hearing impaired children in the classroom, and I eventually followed my passion to begin working in a hearing aid clinic and re-training as an audiometrist. I love the satisfaction of following up clients after hearing aid fitting and seeing how they are re-engaging in aspects of their life which were detrimentally impacted by their hearing loss. As the technology improves so do the client outcomes which is very rewarding to see.
Louise Warner is an Audiologist who obtained her Certificate of Clinical Practice this year after completing her Masters of Audiology Studies at The University of Queensland in 2015. She has worked in a number of areas of audiology including diagnostic assessment, adult audiological assessment, adult aural rehabilitation, hearing device fitting, paediatric assessment, Central Auditory Processing assessment, tinnitus assessment and management and WorkCover testing. Louise became interested in Audiology after completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Bond University. She finds that that the most rewarding thing about being an audiologist is solving clients everyday needs to connect to a world of sound and seeing the benefits to clients’ quality of life. To provide renewed hearing can be life changing for the client and their loved ones now and into the future.
