I am Amy Green and have been working for Hearing Life for the past 3 years. I became an audiometrist 5 years ago and decided to get into the industry as both my father and grand-father were also clinicians. The part i enjoy most about this line of work is helping to improve a clients quality of life with hearing aid rehabilitation.
I am an Audiometrist working with Hearing Life for a total of over 13 years. I started with Hearing Life as a customer service officer then studied and worked my way to completing my Cert IV in Audiometry, becoming fully qualified in 2010. Recently I have returned to working for Hearing Life after 3 years with another company. I really enjoy helping the clients to achieve better hearing and knowing I have improved their daily lives and their communication needs.
Joseph Williams is a senior Audiologist and has been working in the Industry since January 2012 after completing her Master of Clinical Audiology at The University of Western Australia. He has worked in a number of areas of audiology including diagnostic assessment, adult audiological assessment, adult aural rehabilitation, hearing device fitting, paediatric assessment, tinnitus assessment and management. Joseph Williams became interested in Audiology after completing a Bachelor of Science at James Cook University. His majors were in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Joseph Williams has supervised many Master of Audiology students through the years and finds that that the most rewarding thing about being an audiologist is teaching clients about their hearing and guiding them through the sound discovery process. That moment when you see in their eyes that they are hearing everyday sounds again is priceless and very rewarding. It is life changing for the client and opens up a whole new world.
